Prototype Xbox Series X Console Images Leak

Images of the new Xbox Series X console have spread onto the internet as a prototype console has found its way into the hands of twitter user Doug_DragoX. These images gives us the first real look at the back ports of the console itself, as AMD teased the entire industry using a fake 3D model during their CES 2020 Presentation. Below is the fake backports as presented by AMD.

While the 3D render looked convincing at the time and drove up hype and excitment for the console, they were nevertheless proven to be fake mere hours after the presentation. Fans were excited for the possibilities of 2 HDMI ports and USB-C ports, but alas that was not to be the case. Today however, thanks to the help of Doug_DragoX, we can see what is really behind the box. These images of the shared prototype gives us a first glance at the console.

As you can see with the above images, the back of the Xbox has two USB-A ports, a single HDMI-out, an optical audio port, Ethernet, and a power-in. The images of the front of the console also shows us an additional USB-A port on the front. There is an additional longer mysterious port, which according to twitter user SkillUpYT is a debug port that will not be in the final build of the console.

It remains to be seen what the final build will contain, as you can see the leaked console clearly has prototype written all over it, but considering manufacturing time and when we plan to see these next gen consoles launch, we may be looking at a very near final build of the console. Microsoft plans to show us what the Xbox Series X can really do, and has big plans for E3 this year, so we at My Xbox And Me look forward to seeing what exactly Microsoft will have for it’s console.
